📦Storage: Keep non-edible doughs in airtight containers or zip-lock bags — they last 1 to 3 months! Edible doughs should be played with and eaten the same day.
🌈Better colors: Gel food coloring gives much brighter, more vibrant colors than liquid drops. A tiny squeeze goes a long way!
🧹Easy cleanup: Lay down a plastic tablecloth or garbage bag before starting. Dough wipes right off smooth surfaces!
🧼Clean hands: Always wash hands before and after playing with dough, especially edible recipes.
👶Age guidance: Most recipes are great for ages 4 and up. Edible recipes (marshmallow, peanut butter, chocolate) are safest for toddlers who still taste everything. Always supervise kids under 6.
🚫Not edible means not edible: Even non-toxic doughs contain lots of salt and are not safe to eat in quantity. Remind little ones that only the recipes marked EDIBLE are for tasting!
